These are screenshots from a five-minute film I created, featuring music from my forthcoming Cantilever album, Highway Wars. The film presents present-day Detroit as a post-apocalyptic landscape, situated vaguely within the context of science fiction. It's a journey from concrete monoliths back to nature - the post-city, the singularity as an apocalypse. The film was created by printing out each frame of footage on various printers, photocopying them, drawing on them and distressing them in various ways, scanning them back in, and animating them back into a film.
